Our software engineers engage in an array of fields, from latency-optimisation (nano-seconds) of our trading applications, to risk and margin calculator algorithms, expansion of data APIs on our digital business platform, and machine learning and natural language processing.

    Tasks/responsibilities
    • Participation in the development of software for the financial industry
    • Support senior programmer and analysts to build the libraries and frameworks of Microservices and APIs that support customer delivery excellence
    • Join an agile team and develop new applications and functionalities
    • Participate in all stages of the software lifecycle (design, implementation, test and production support) to ensure high quality and security standards
    • Contribute to the transformation of our legacy applications into a modern cloud-based microservices architecture
    Qualifications/required skills
    • Current studies in Computer Science or equivalent
    • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including Go, Python, or Java
    • Understanding of data structures and first experience with SQL
    • Background knowledge on financial markets, systems and process would be an advantage
    • Excellent written and spoken English skills alongside good communication and collaboration skills
    • Practical experience with development of cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure or GCP) would be an advantage
    • Practical experience with Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse and Data Lake technologies would be an advantage
    • Experience with relational and non-relational database technologies (Oracle, Hive) would be an advantage
    • Practical experience with an agile development methodology would be an advantage
