    Master's degree in software-defined radio (m/f/d)

    Software-defined radio (SDR) technology is able to scan a large
    frequency spectrum very fast. This makes it possible to determine
    which wireless applications are used at certain frequency bands.
    These properties give SDR technologies a wide range of uses in
    cybersecurity. With this in mind, we are looking for a candidate to
    join us starting in December 2019 / January 2020 to assist us as part
    of an upcoming master's thesis for six months on the topic of SDR.
    o During this time, you will be a part of our security research project
    and will work closely together with the team.
    o Within your area of activity, you will evaluate to what extent SDR
    can be used in the cybersecurity field.
    o With a combination of cybersecurity and SDR, plans call for you to
    help, among other things, with discovering unknown or
    unencrypted wireless installations more efficiently.
    o Through your own impetus, you will support the development of
    exciting projects, identify the strengths and weaknesses of
    processes and help to optimize processes.

    o You are a student currently enrolled in a program in computer
    science (or business informatics), cybersecurity, electrical
    engineering or a comparable discipline and are approaching
    completion of your master's degree.
    o You have already gained experience in projects, internships or as
    a student trainee in the field of cybersecurity.
    o You are enthusiastic about new technologies and the opportunity
    to help shape development subjects and structure them clearly
    and work on your own responsibility.
    o Along with your excellent German and English language skills, you
    are well qualified due to your poised and confident manner,
    teamwork skills and personal initiative.
